BOOK DONATION FROM BRITISH SCHOOL OF BAHRAIN COMMUNITY  FEB 2019

The British School of Bahrain community came together in the winter term to collect over 120kg of reading books to donate to The Mash Foundation in Nairobi, Kenya. This initiative was organized by Ms Susan Cullen and assisted by Charlotte Rodney (10E) and Shamayel Qureshi (10F).  Students across the school, parents, teachers and friends of the BSB were extremely generous with their donations.

DHL in Bahrain were extremely generous and offered to ship these books free of charge to Nairobi as part of DHL’s Corporate Social Responsibilities (Go Teach).  We are absolutely thrilled to know that these books will reach Nairobi safely and securely, so that the children that visit the Mash Foundation Trust library every week can read new books.
Bain and Company, London, donated 70 books and raised 250 dollars for Book shipment in the month of July 2019. Thanks to Tomek McClintock for his great support in organizing this book drive and all his fellow staff members for their generosity.
Many thanks to our good friend Sonal Patel for donating  lovely story books to our community library. These classic story books will inspire and bring a new experience full of fun and adventure to the children.
