The Mash Foundation seeks to raise awareness among children and the public on the importance of child protection and child rights issues ,health related issues and moral issues using puppet shows. These shows are designed to be child-friendly and engaging, helping children understand their rights, how to report abuse, and how to seek help. By using puppets as role models, we aim to encourage children to speak up, gain confidence, and feel empowered to protect themselves.
This project directly aligns with Global Youth Mobilization’s goals of empowering youth and creating lasting social change. It promotes education (SDG 4) and child protection (SDG 16), ensuring the voices of vulnerable children are heard, and that they have the tools to protect their rights.
The puppet shows are done in Schools and other children centres with a team of puppeteers and facilitators. We welcome partners and friends to support in this program and outreaches.
